Acclimation Service (Add-On)
Not sure about acclimating tissue culture yourself? Let us do the hard part.
Add this service to any tissue culture plant in your order. Instead of shipping your tissue culture plant right away, we’ll professionally acclimate it in our controlled environment using carefully managed humidity, lighting, and growing media. After approximately 4 weeks, you’ll receive an established, rooted starter plant that’s ready for the next stage of growth.
Progress Updates
Your tissue culture plant will be labeled with your name throughout the acclimation process, so you’ll know you’re seeing your own plant—not a sample.
We’ll send you biweekly photo updates of your actual plant, allowing you to follow its progress as it acclimates before it’s shipped to you.
If Your Plant Doesn’t Survive
Acclimating tissue culture plants always involves some risk, even under ideal conditions.
If your plant does not survive while in our care:
- You’ll receive a 25% refund of the tissue culture plant’s purchase price.
- You’ll receive a 100% refund of the Acclimation Service fee.
The biweekly photos ensure you can follow your plant’s progress during the acclimation period.
How to Order
- Add your tissue culture plant(s) to your cart.
- Add one Acclimation Service for each tissue culture plant, selecting the tier that matches the plant’s price.
- If you’re ordering multiple plants, simply add the corresponding number of Acclimation Services (for example, if two plants use the same tier, set the service quantity to 2).
Your acclimated plants will ship approximately 4 weeks after your tissue culture plants arrive at our facility. Plants without the Acclimation Service will ship according to the normal pre-order schedule.
Good to Know
- Service tiers are based on the price of each tissue culture plant. We’ll verify the correct tier before acclimation begins and contact you if any adjustment is needed.
- Plants valued over $250 CAD require a custom quote.
- Orders containing both acclimated and non-acclimated plants may ship separately.
- Our Live Arrival Guarantee applies once your acclimated plant has been shipped.
Ready to ship
This follows our Monday–Thursday dispatch schedule. Orders containing pre-order items will be shipped together once the pre-order items are ready. If you would like your ready-to-ship items to arrive before the pre-order item, please select the “Arrives Before Pre-Order” shipping option at checkout.
